Rainforest Adventure is a soft play centre that will transport your kids to a different world. Technically they’re in Motherwell, but in their heads they’re swinging through the jungle, navigating the swampy river and cutting swathes through the undergrowth as they lose themselves in the sprawling, immersive environment. Scotland’s largest soft play centre is a labyrinthine maze of tunnels, chutes, zones and enclosures, set amidst a verdant tropical backdrop. Lifelike murals of monkeys and other jungle creatures loom large while the kids whoop and holler their way through the capacious centre. While the little ones busy themselves with conquering the jungle, parents can sit back and savour a quality cup of coffee and a bite to eat in the restaurant overlooking the play area. Not surprisingly, Rainforest Adventure is a hugely popular venue for birthday parties. Let the kids run amok in a safe, supervised setting before retreating to the party room for cake and candy. The play frame has newly been extended and hosts an exciting sky walk over the cafe area as well as drop slides ball pools and an indoor mini football pitch. Not too much to say. It's a good soft play with loads to do. Staff are good too. The food is decent, the one time I got a cappuccino the milk was burnt but that might have been a one off.
